The Pab Formation is a Late Cretaceous geologic formation in Balochistan, in western Pakistan. It is dominated by sandstone, with minor mudstone and shale components.{{Cite journal|last1=Umar|first1=Muhammad|last2=Friis|first2=Henrik|last3=Khan|first3=Abdul Salam|last4=Kelling|first4=Gilbert|last5=Kassi|first5=Akhtar Muhammad|last6=Sabir|first6=Muhammad Amjad|last7=Farooq|first7=Muhammad|date=2013-11-07|title=Sediment Composition and Provenance of the Pab Formation, Kirthar Fold Belt, Pakistan: Signatures of Hot Spot Volcanism, Source Area Weathering, and Paleogeography on the Western Passive Margin of the Indian Plate During the Late Cretaceous|journal=Arabian Journal for Science and Engineering|language=en|volume=39|issue=1|pages=311–324|doi=10.1007/s13369-013-0850-4|issn=1319-8025}} Dinosaur remains are among the fossils that have been recovered from the formation.Weishampel, et al.
