Pam Johnson (November 14, 1946 — January 20, 2021) was the first woman to serve as managing editor of The Arizona Republic, the 15th largest newspaper in the U.S.{{Cite web|url=https://muckrack.com/blog/2019/10/24/the-top-25-us-daily-newspapers-of-fall-2019|title=The top 25 U.S. Daily newspapers of fall 2019}} and the largest newspaper in Arizona. Johnson and reporters from the Kansas City Star and the Kansas City Times were awarded a Pulitzer Prize for team coverage of the Hyatt Regency walkway collapse in 1982.
