Panpacific University is a private higher education institution located in Urdaneta, Pangasinan, Philippines. Established in 1992, the university has been granted Autonomous Status by the Commission on Higher Education (CHED), allowing greater flexibility in curriculum design and international partnerships.
History
Panpacific University, formerly known as Pangasinan Colleges of Science and Technology (PCST), was incorporated on August 26, 1992. It was founded by Romeo T. Padilla and Corazon Padilla, who were educators and entrepreneurs. The vision of the university's founders was to make higher education accessible to college students in Eastern Pangasinan.{{citation needed|date=December 2024}}
In 1993, PCST started its operations in a rented three-story building with ten rooms located along MacArthur Highway in Urdaneta, Pangasinan. From 1995 to 2000, the institution transferred to a new location. Panpacific University is one of the private higher education institutions granted autonomous and deregulated status by the Commission on Higher Education on September 26, 2024.
