Parachartergus is a genus of epiponine social wasps belonging to the subfamily Polistinae. Species include:

  • Parachartergus amazonensis{{cite journal |last1=Hunt |first1=James H. |last2=Carpenter |first2=James M. |title=Intra-specific Nest Form Variation in Some Neotropical Swarm-founding Wasps of the Genus Parachartergus (Hymenoptera: Vespidae: Epiponini) |journal=Journal of the Kansas Entomological Society |date=October 2004 |volume=77 |issue=4 |pages=448–456 |doi=10.2317/E-26.1}}
  • Parachartergus apicalis - known to form mutualistic relationships with treehoppers. The male genitalia are noted for their movements of "startling complexity".
  • Parachartergus aztecus{{cite book|author=Owain Westmacott Richards|title=The Social Wasps of the Americas Excluding the Vespinae|url=https://books.google.com/books?id=yDwgAQAAMAAJ|date=1978|publisher=British Museum (Natural History)|isbn=978-0-565-00785-0|pages=203–213}}
  • Parachartergus colobopterus - unusually nests contain several queens. The species is docile, preferring to leave the nest than mount an attack.
  • Parachartergus griseus (Fox, 1898){{cite journal |last1=Somavilla |first1=Alexandre |last2=De Oliveira |first2=Marcio Luiz |title=Social wasps (Vespidae: Polistinae) from Ducke Reserve, Amazonas, Brazil |journal=Sociobiology |date=30 May 2017 |volume=64 |issue=1 |pages=125 |doi=10.13102/sociobiology.v64i1.1215|doi-access=free }}
  • Parachartergus fasciipennis (Ducke, 1905)
  • Parachartergus flavofasciatus
  • Parachartergus fraternus (Gribodo, 1892) - closely related to P. apicalis and has been studied extensively
  • Parachartergus fulgidipennis
  • Parachartergus griseus
  • Parachartergus lenkoi
  • Parachartergus pseudoapicalis{{cite journal |last1=Brito |first1=E. L. S. |last2=Aragão |first2=M. |last3=Santos |first3=G. M.   • Parachartergus richardsi (Willink, 1951)

  • Parachartergus tomentus
  • Parachartergus weyrauchi
  • Parachartergus wagneri
