Paraharmochirus is a genus of Papuan jumping spiders that was first described by C. Szombathy in 1915.{{cite journal| last=Szombathy| first=C.| year=1915| title=Attides nouveaux appartenant aux collections du Musée national hongrois| journal=Annales Musei Nationalis Hungarici| pages=468–490| volume=13}} {{as of|2019|08}} it contains only two species, found only in Papua New Guinea: P. monstrosus and P. tualapaensis.{{cite journal| title=Gen.
