Parthenocissus henryana (Chinese Virginia-creeper{{BSBI 2007|accessdate=2014-10-17}} or silver vein creeper) is a species of flowering plant in the vine family Vitaceae, native to China.
Description
It is a vigorous, deciduous tendril climber growing to {{convert|10|m|ft|0|abbr=on}}. It has a more restrained growth than the other Virginia creepers.Clive Lane, Plants for Small Spaces, 2005, p. 72 The large palmate leaves consist of five to nine oval leaflets, each up to {{convert|12|cm|0|abbr=on}} long, with strong white veining. The leaves colour to a brilliant red in autumn before falling. Cultivation
In China it grows on moist rocks, at heights of {{convert|100|-|1500|m|ft|0|abbr=on}}.(Hemsley) Graebner ex Diels & Gilg.
Parthenocissus henryana can grow on walls and trellising, in large pots, and as a groundcover on slopes. It is propagated from seeds or cuttings.
