Career

A few weeks later, he managed to achieve his first top 30 result, finishing 29th at the giant slalom at Adelboden, but would be later disqualified. The same happened at the slalom two years later at the same location.{{Cite web |date=2020-01-11 |title=RTL in Adelboden: Feurstein disqualifiziert - da half auch Hirscher-Know-how nicht |url=https://www.kleinezeitung.at/sport/wintersport/skialpin/5750583/RTL-in-Adelboden_Feurstein-disqualifiziert-da-half-auch |access-date=2024-12-14 |website=www.kleinezeitung.at |language=de}}

His best result of the season came at the giant slalom of Alta Badia where he finished fourth, narrowly missing out on a podium finish. He would finish second with the Austrian team at the team event at the season finale in Méribel.
On September 10, 2024, Feurstein narrowly avoided a crash with a course worker while competing at the South American Cup at Cerro Castor.{{Cite web |last=Weihs |first=Peter |date=2024-09-19 |title=ÖSV-Riesentorläufer entgeht Katastrophe nur knapp |url=https://www.krone.at/90013522007 |access-date=2024-12-14 |website=Kronen |language=de}}
He scored his first podium finish in a single event on December 14, 2024, in giant slalom at Val d'Isère, France, making up 22 positions after the first run.
