People and Justice ({{Langx|bs|Narod i pravda}}, abbreviated NiP) is a centre-right{{cn|reason=Your explanation here|date=January 2023}} political party in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The party was founded on 12 March 2018.
History
People and Justice (NiP) was founded on 12 March 2018, after Elmedin Konaković resigned from all party functions in the conservative Bosniak Party of Democratic Action.{{Cite web|url=https://www.oslobodjenje.ba/vijesti/bih/elmedin-konakovic-osnovao-stranku-narod-i-pravda|title=Elmedin Konaković osnovao stranku Narod i pravda|last=PORTAL|first=Oslobođenje|website=www.oslobodjenje.ba|date=12 March 2018 |language=Bosnian|accessdate=12 March 2018}} In the general election held in the same year, the party won six seats in the Sarajevo Cantonal Assembly, two seats in the Federal House of Representatives and one seat in the Federal House of Peoples.
In the 2020 municipal elections, NiP significantly increased its share of votes in the capital Sarajevo, becoming the largest political party in the city.{{Cite web|url=https://www.klix.ba/vijesti/bih/nip-izdominirao-u-sarajevu-sda-uzdrmana-nasa-stranka-u-blagom-padu-dok-sbb-i-df-polako-nestaju/201119146|title=NiP izdominirao u Sarajevu, SDA uzdrmana, Naša stranka u blagom padu dok SBB i DF polako "nestaju"|website=Klix.ba|language=Bosnian|accessdate=20 November 2020}} In the 2022 general election, the party also significantly increased its share of votes in the country, winning three seats in the national House of Representatives and seven seats in the Federal one.{{Cite web|url=https://www.izbori.ba/Rezultati_izbora/?resId=32&langId=4#/2/1/0/0/0/0|title=Central Electoral Commission B&H|website=www.izbori.ba}} Following the election, a coalition led by the Alliance of Independent Social Democrats, the Croatian Democratic Union and the Social Democratic Party, including NiP, reached an agreement on the formation of a new government.{{cite web|url=https://www.klix.ba/vijesti/bih/bih-dobila-novo-vijece-ministara-drzavnu-vlast-sada-cini-snsd-hdz-sdp-nip-ns-dns/230125037|title=BiH dobila novo Vijeće ministara, državnu vlast sada čini SNSD, HDZ, SDP, NiP, NS, DNS...|date=25 January 2023|access-date=25 January 2023|language=bs|author=N.V.|publisher=Klix.ba}}
The 2024 municipal elections saw mixed results. Despite winning in Ilijaš and holding on to Ilidža and Srebrenik, NiP suffered noticeable losses in Sarajevo, losing municipal councilors in all four of the city's municipalities.{{cite web|url=https://www.klix.ba/vijesti/bih/kako-ce-izgledati-opcinska-vijeca-u-kantonu-sarajevo-ozbiljan-pad-za-nip-sbih-relativni-pobjednik/241007047|title=Kako će izgledati općinska vijeća u Kantonu Sarajevo?
