The Perkins 6.247 is a diesel engine designed by Perkins Engines in the mid-1970s, intended for light duty commercial vehicles with lower NVH than contemporary offerings.{{cite journal |last1 = Larkinson |first1 = D. It was built under licence by Mazda as the ZB. Bore and stroke are {{cvt|92.0|×|101.6|mm|in|2}} for an overall displacement of {{cvt|4.052|L|cc cuin|adj=ri1|sigfig=4}}. When installed in the Dodge 50, this engine produces {{cvt|93|hp|kW|0}} and {{cvt|160|lbft|Nm|0}}.
