In Etruscan mythology, Persipnei{{Pronunciation needed|date=February 2024}} or Phersipnai (later Ferspnai) was the queen of the underworld and equivalent to the Greek goddess Persephone and Roman Proserpina.{{cite book |title= Maiden, mother, crone: the myth and reality of the triple goddess |last= D.
