The Persistence is a Chesapeake Bay log canoe, built in the 1890s, possibly by John B. Harrison in Tilghman, Maryland. She measures 32'-4{{fraction|1|2}}" long, with a beam of 6'-11{{fraction|1|2}}" and is double-ended with no longhead on her bow. She is one of the last 22 surviving traditional Chesapeake Bay racing log canoes that carry on a tradition of racing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland that has existed since the 1840s. She is located at St. Michaels, Talbot County, Maryland.{{cite web|url={{MHT url|id=919}}|title=Maryland Historical Trust|date=2008-06-14|work= PERSISTENCE (log canoe)|publisher=Maryland Historical Trust}}{{cite web|url=http://testing.blogcanoe.com/the-fleet/persistence-12/|title=Persistence #12 – CBLCSA|date=2010-07-24|work=Persistence|publisher=Chesapeake Bay Log Sailing Canoe Association|access-date=2010-07-29|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20110708015744/http://testing.blogcanoe.com/the-fleet/persistence-12/|archive-date=2011-07-08|url-status=dead}}
