The flowers are arranged in clusters in leaf axils or on the ends of branchlets that do not continue growth after flowering. Each flower is on an erect, hairy pedicel {{cvt|1–2|mm}} long, the tepals {{cvt|12–14|mm}} long and hairy on the outside with a short spine on the tip, the anthers white. Flowering occurs from November to February and the fruit is an oval drupe about {{cvt|18|mm}} long and {{cvt|14|mm}} wide, that is green at first, later purplish.{{cite book |title=Wild Plants of Victoria (database)|year=2009 |publisher=Viridans Biological Databases & Department of Sustainability and Environment}}{{cite web |url=http://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Persoonia~confertiflora|title=Persoonia confertiflora|access-date=2011-03-07 |author=Weston, P.H.|work= PlantNET - New South Wales Flora Online |publisher=Royal Botanic Gardens & Domain Trust, Sydney Australia}}
