Peter George Hatch (born 3 July 1938) is an English former first-class cricketer and British Army officer.
Hatch was born at Kirkee, in what was then British India. He was educated in England at Malvern College,{{cite web|url=http://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/30/30050/30050.html |title=Player profile: Peter Hatch |publisher=CricketArchive |accessdate=2019-03-14 |url-access=subscription}} before attending the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst. He attended Queens' College at the University of Cambridge during his military service, graduating with a B.A. in 1963.{{cite book |title=The Cambridge University List of Members for the Year 1991 |publisher=Cambridge University Press |year=1991 |page=596 |isbn=9780521434683 |url=https://books.google.com/books?id=05AcAQAAMAAJ |language=en}} While at Cambridge, he played two first-class matches for the Free Foresters in 1961. He was the secretary to the college cricket club in 1961–62, a position he relinquished upon his impending marriage.{{cite book |title=Queens' College 1961-1962 |publisher=Queens' College, Cambridge |year=1963 |page=15 |url=https://www.queens.cam.ac.uk/files/publicationFiles/queens-college-1961-1962ocr.pdf |language=en}} In that same season, he played his final first-class match for the Combined Services against Northamptonshire. Across five first-class matches, Hatch scored 60 runs with a high score of 15.
