The Pimbwe are an ethnic and linguistic group based in the Rukwa Region of western Tanzania, in the neighbourhood of Mpimbwe to the northwest of Lake RukwaMargaret Arminel Bryan, The Bantu Languages of Africa Oxford University Press 1959.
