Pinggu Town ({{zh|s=平谷镇|p=Pínggǔ Zhèn}}) is a town in the southwest of Pinggu District, Beijing, China. It borders Wangxinzhuang Town and Xinggu Subdistrict to the north, Xiagezhuang Town to the east, Donggaocun Town to the south, Machangying and Daxingzhuang Towns to the west, and surrounds Binhe Subdistrict on three sides. According to the 2020 census, its population was 62,694.{{Cite web |title=(北京市)平谷区第七次全国人口普查公报-红黑统计公报库 |url=https://tjgb.hongheiku.com/15716.html |access-date=2022-10-27 |website=tjgb.hongheiku.com}}

The town was named Pinggu ({{Zh|s=平谷|l=Flat Valley}}) because of its location in a plain surrounded by mountains on the north, east and south. When it became an area in 2002, the name Yuyang ({{Zh|s=渔阳|l=Fishing Sun}}) was given in order to distinguish it from the larger district.{{Cite book |script-title=zh:中华人民共和国政区大典, 北京市卷 |date=2013 |publisher=中国社会出版社 |editor=李立国 |editor2=李万钧 |editor3=吴世民 |isbn=978-7-5087-4058-4 |location=Beijing |oclc=910451741}} However, as of 2025, official sources now solely use the term Pinggu Town once more, as they have begun to move away from the "area" classification.{{Cite web |title=北京市民政局 行政区划 2024年北京市行政区划名称和行政区划代码 |url=https://mzj.beijing.gov.cn/art/2025/1/6/art_9984_684678.html |access-date=2025-06-19 |website=mzj.beijing.gov.cn}}{{Cite web |title=北京市民政局 2024版地图下载 平谷区(单色8开) |url=https://mzj.beijing.gov.cn/art/2024/9/19/art_10826_681334.html |access-date=2025-06-19 |website=mzj.beijing.gov.cn}}
