In November 2022, the developer Pinnacle International submitted an application to the City of Toronto to increase the height of the two tallest towers. The proposal will add 10 storeys to Sky Tower, an increase from 95 to 105 storeys, increasing its height from 313 metres to 346.7 metres, making it the tallest building in Toronto, as well as potentially the tallest residential building in the world by floor count. The 80-storey third tower would see 12 storeys added, becoming 92 storeys tall. The total height would be increased from 264 metres to 307.7 metres. In November 2023, the city's Planning Department recommended the increases for approval by City Council.{{Cite web |url=https://urbantoronto.ca/news/2023/11/planning-recommends-two-supertall-extensions-pinnacle-one-yonge.54398|website=Urban Toronto|title=Planning Recommends Two 'Supertall' Extensions at Pinnacle One Yonge|author=Anthony Teles|author2=Craig White|date=November 3, 2023|access-date=November 4, 2023}} In March 2025, a proposal to increase the building's height to 351.85 metres was submitted.
