The Pivdennodonbaska 1 coal mine is a large coal mine located in the south-east of Ukraine in Donetsk Oblast. Pivdennodonbaska 1 represents one of the largest coal reserves in Ukraine, having estimated reserves of 69.3 million tonnes.{{cite web|url=http://www.epa.gov/cmop/docs/ukraine_handbook.pdf|title=Coal mine methane in Ukraine|date=January 2001|publisher=epa.gov|accessdate=2010-12-29}} The annual coal production is around 1.2 million tonnes. In September 2024, it was captured by Russian Armed Forces.
