Planidia is a genus of beetles in the family Buprestidae, the jewel beetles. They are native to southern and eastern Africa.Jelínek, J. (1971). [http://biostor.org/reference/100986 Revision oft (sic) the genus Planidia Kerremans (Coleoptera, Buprestidae).] Opuscula Zoologica (Muenchen) 120 1-11.
