Poinguinim is a village in the Canacona taluka administrative region of Goa, India, near the Goa-Karnataka border,{{cite web|url=https://www.censusindia.gov.in/2011census/maps/atlas/30part3.pdf|publisher=Census of India|access-date=2021-10-29|title=Census of India 2011}} and close to the Cotigao Wildlife Sanctuary. The village is home to a population of 6,625 people as of the 2011 census.
