|text=The Netherlands Carillon adjacent to Arlington National Cemetery was a gift from the Netherlands to the United States of America in 1954, to thank the U.S. for its aid during and after World War II. A Carillon is a musical instrument consisting of at least 23 cast bronze bells, and the Netherlands is home to more of them than any other nation.
