Porter Dene Hodge (born February 21, 2001) is an American professional baseball pitcher for the Chicago Cubs of Major League Baseball (MLB). He made his MLB debut in 2024.

Early life and education

Baseball career

Hodge did not play in a game in 2020 due to the cancellation of the minor league season because of the COVID-19 pandemic.{{Cite web|title=2020 Minor League Baseball season cancelled|url=https://www.mlb.com/news/2020-minor-league-baseball-season-canceled|access-date=May 17, 2024|website=mlb.com|language=en}} He returned in 2021 to play for the Arizona Complex League Cubs and Myrtle Beach Pelicans. On November 14, 2023, the Cubs added Hodge to their 40-man roster to protect him from the Rule 5 draft. He was one pitch away from an immaculate inning.
