Education
Sethupathy received his BA degree from Cornell University and a PhD in genomics from the University of Pennsylvania. He completed his post-doctoral fellowship at the National Human Genome Research Institute under the direction of the then Director of National Institutes of Health Dr. Francis Collins, after which he moved to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill as an assistant professor in the Department of Genetics in 2011. Sethupathy returned to the Cornell University as an Associate Professor where he studied.
