The Procyon Stakes (Japanese プロキオンステークス) is a Grade 2 horse race for Thoroughbreds aged four and over, run in January over a distance of 1,800 meters on dirt at Chukyo Racecourse.{{cite web|url=http://japanracing.jp/en/racing/schedule/graded/list/2019/1109musashino.html|title=Musashino Stakes|publisher=Horse Racing in Japan}}
It was first run over the distance of 1,400 meters in 1996, open to three and over, and has held Grade 3 status ever since. It was run at Hanshin Racecourse before moving to Chukyo in 2012. - 2 kg for fillies / mares
- 1 kg for southern hemisphere bred four-year-olds
Penalties (excluding two-year-old race performance):
- If a graded stakes race has been won within a year:
- 2 kg for a grade 1 win (1 kg for fillies / mares)
- 1 kg for a grade 2 win
- If a graded stakes race has been won for more than a year:
- 1 kg for a grade 1 win
