Project:WikiProject Cincinnati

This WikiProject aims to coordinate improvement efforts on articles related to Cincinnati and the Greater Cincinnati area. This includes people, neighborhoods, companies, buildings, parks, et cetera. Keep in mind that when placing the project banner on the talk page of a person that he or she should have a strong connection to Cincinnati. Also note that for Cincinnati Reds players we should use the project banner provided at WP:CINCINNATI REDS. It is also an aim of this project to bring the Cincinnati city article up to Featured Article status, in part by bringing it up to the standards defined by WikiProject Cities.

Here are some open WikiProject Cincinnati tasks:

• Turn Cincinnati into a featured article
• Turn Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky metropolitan area (aka Greater Cincinnati) into a featured article
• Mention cultural features of the city beyond those that are immediately visible to tourists.
• Improve the articles listed in :Category:Stub-Class Cincinnati articles and identify and tag new Cincinnati-related stub articles by placing the project banner on article talk pages.
• Bring all articles in :Category:B-Class Cincinnati articles up to A-Status, GA-Status and FA-Status according to the standards put forward by the Version 1.0 Editorial Team.
• Place an infobox in every article that appears in :Category:Cincinnati articles needing infoboxes, and mark the "needs-infobox=" with "yes" in the project banner on talk pages for articles without an infobox present. :Category:Infobox templates can be a helpful place to browse to find the infobox you need for an article.
• Address issues found present in :Category:Cincinnati articles needing attention, which often need the most work of all. Place "yes" in the "attention=" field of the project banner on talk pages for articles in dire need of attention.
• Find images for :Category:Wikipedia requested photographs in Cincinnati.
• Improve sub-articles referenced in Cincinnati
• Photograph the wooden Ronald Reagan Cross County Highway dedication sign at the highway's eastern terminus in Montgomery.
