Welcome to WikiProject Ossetia, a WikProject set up to better organize, cooperate and present information in all articles related to Ossetia and Ossetian. We hope that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians to improve all Ossetian-related articles in order to make Wikipedia an primary resource for Ossetian-related information for all who visit.

WikiProject Ossetia was created to help those interested in improving all of the Ossetian-related articles on Wikipedia to find a particular area in which they are interested in working. Our goals are as following:

  • Present a realistic view of Ossetia and the Ossetian people in the world.
  • Make Wikipedia a primary and reliable source of Ossetia related information.
  • To improve the quality and quantity of Ossetia related articles, including improving Ossetia to featured article status.

Noticeboard

Hello anyone interested, as far as I know I am the only person actively contributing to this wikiproject, and as such am going to take a moment to outline what exactly I am doing for it. I have been mostly going down the red link rabbit hole of South Ossetian politicians on the political articles for this project, such as elections and political parties. There is alot of work here to flesh out all the politics of South Ossetia, with, hypothetically, every former and current member of the South Ossetian parliament being valid for an article under WP:POLITICIAN: Politicians and judges who have held international, national, or (for countries with federal or similar systems of government) state/province–wide office, or have been members of legislative bodies at those levels. So that is what I plan on working on indefinitely. Also when I find a political party that doesn't have a page that a biographical project I'm working on is a member of I'll also get around to making an article for that party.
