;Goals
The purpose of this WikiProject is to co-ordinate articles on light, medium and heavy trucks. It aims to improve the coverage of manufacturers and models, and to make articles on trucks uniform and informative.
;Scope
This project proposes to work with all pages related to the type of road or off-road vehicle commonly known as truck or lorry.
Guidelines
- We shall strive to follow the Wikipedia:Manual of Style.
- A lot of useful guidelines can be found at our sister Wikipedia:WikiProject Automobiles.

- Rotten Stone (vintage Volvo and Scania)
- FabioTalk Definitely agree, there needs to be a more uniform article structure on trucks and i think a project may accomplish this.
- G®iffen (Semi-participating. Basics om new European models, truck purposes, finding suitable pictures, translating from Scandinavian + eventually German texts)
- Hasannur OK, I'm interested and willing to help
- Tepoo (I'll probably be semi-participant like G®iffen but I definitely agree there should be better consistency amongst lorry related articles. Interested about truck manufacturers from Northern Europe and on more general view keeping articles well formed.)

Categories
Please use one of the following categories when writing a truck related article.
Stubs
Instead of using the standard {{tl|stub}} template, you may want to use one of the following more specific vehicle stub tags, some of which are:
- {{tl|vehicle-stub}} for stubs about general automotive topics. Unfortunately, this category contains many articles, so use of one of the more targeted subcategories is recommended:
- {{tl|truck-stub}} - for stub articles about trucks

- {{tl|auto-stub}} - for stub articles about sedan delivery vans / car derived vans
- {{tl|motorvehicle-company-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive companies
- {{tl|auto-factory-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive factories
- {{tl|automotive-part-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive parts or components
- {{tl|automotive-tech-stub}} - for stub articles about automotive technologies
- {{tl|road-stub}} - for stub articles about general road transport
