This project to better organize information in articles related to villages. This page and {{subpages}} contain their suggestions; it is hoped that this project will help to focus the efforts of other Wikipedians. If you would like to help, please make suggestions and proposals on the talk page, and see the to-do list below (Note: This page is constructed courtesy WP:WikiProject Geography)


Goals

  1. Revive this Wiki Project.
  2. Add {{tl|WikiProject Villages}} to every village.
  3. Develop and implement a common structure to village articles
  4. Clarify and improve topic structure
  5. Develop some neglected aspects of the topic
  6. Ensure NPOV
  7. Get all village articles up to A Class standard

Article guidelines and conventions

A general template/model of how village articles should be structured, and particularly what sections and in what order, doesn't seem to exist yet. The most common models are however summarised in some related WikiProjects; some examples follow and can be used as inspiration until a guideline is developed.
