Prostanthera mulliganensis, commonly known as Mount Mulligan prostanthera,{{cite web |title=Species profile—Prostanthera mulliganensis (Lamiaceae) |url=https://apps.des.qld.gov.au/species-search/details/?id=35580 |publisher=Queensland Government Department of Environment and Science |access-date=9 September 2020}} is a species of flowering plant that is endemic to Mount Mulligan in Queensland. It is a small shrub with hairy branchlets, oblong to egg-shaped leaves and mauve flowers with purple to dark mauve markings.
Description
Prostanthera mulliganensis is a shrub that typically grows to a height of {{cvt|1–1.5|m}} with hairy branches. The leaves are dull green, oblong to egg-shaped with the narrower end towards the base, {{cvt|15–20|mm}} long and {{cvt|3–4|mm}} wide on a petiole {{cvt|4–5|mm}} long. The flowers are arranged in groups of two to four near the ends of branchlets, each flower on a stalk {{cvt|3–3.5|mm}} long. The sepals are green, densely hairy and form a tube {{cvt|2.5–3|mm}} long with two lobes, the upper lobe {{cvt|6–7|mm}} long and the lower lobe {{cvt|2.5–3|mm}} long. The petals are mauve with purple to dark mauve markings and {{cvt|12–15|mm}} long, forming a tube {{cvt|8.5–10|mm}} long with two lips. The central lower lobe is {{cvt|6–7.5|mm}} long and the side lobes are about {{cvt|4.5|mm}} long. Taxonomy

Distribution and habitat
Conservation status
This mintbush is classified as "critically endangered" under the Queensland Government Nature Conservation Act 1992.
