Prunus triloba, sometimes called flowering plum{{PLANTS|id=PRTR3|taxon=Prunus triloba|accessdate=15 October 2015}} or flowering almond, a name shared with Prunus jacquemontii,Bailey, L.H.; Bailey, E.Z.; the staff of the Liberty Hyde Bailey Hortorium. 1976. Hortus third: A concise dictionary of plants cultivated in the United States and Canada. Macmillan, New York. is a shrubby cherry, sometimes becoming a small tree. The flowers are pale pink or white, and the fruit are red and "pubescent", i.e. with soft hair. It originates from China but is popular around the world as an ornamental.
It is most often found in cultivation in the double flowered form P. triloba 'Multiplex', which has double pink flowers. This cultivar is often sold as "Rose Tree of China", "China Rose Tree", or other variants.
The stones of P. triloba are often used to make beaded bracelets in China.{{Cite web|author=爱盘玩|date=2018-06-14|title=他在路边摘了几颗榆叶梅……没想到,做成手串这么漂亮!|url=http://www.sohu.com/a/235808168_156990|access-date=2021-02-20|website=搜狐网|language=zh}}
