Currently, near the location of the events, there is a place called "Sovereignty Square" with signs recounting the events.
Etymology
The name comes from the fact that the place was owned by the Argentine settler Ricardo Arbilla.{{cite web|title=History|url=http://www.municipalidadohiggins.cl/web/comuna/historia/|publisher=Municipality of O'Higgins|accessdate=October 4, 2022}}
