Punta Mulas Light, also known as Faro de Vieques, is a historic lighthouse located in the north shore of Vieques, an island-municipality of Puerto Rico. It was first lit in 1896 and automated in 1949.{{cite uscghist|PR|access-date=2009-03-30}} Punta Mulas Light was the second lighthouse built on Vieques after the Puerto Ferro Light. The light was established to guide through the dangerous passage formed by a chain of reefs. It was of key importance for navigation in the San Juan Passage.{{Cite web |url=https://tile.loc.gov/storage-services/master/pnp/habshaer/pr/pr0000/pr0034/data/pr0034data.pdf |title=Punta Mulas Light |last=Murphy |first=Kevin |date=August 1984 |website=Historic American Engineering Record |publisher=Library of Congress |location=Washington, D.C. |page=3 |access-date=October 20, 2020}}
In 1992, the lighthouse was restored in celebration of the 500th anniversary of Christopher Columbus's first voyage to America. The structure houses a museum featuring the maritime history of Vieques and the Americas as well as other historical exhibits.{{cite web|url=http://www.stjohnbeachguide.com/Vieques_HTML/Punta_Mulas.htm|title=Punta Mulas Lighthouse|publisher=St. John beach guide|access-date=2009-03-30}} It's listed in both the U.S. National Register of Historic Places and the Puerto Rico Register of Historic Sites and Zones.{{Cite web |last=GOBIERNO DE PUERTO RICO |first=JUNTA DE PLANIFICACIÓN DE PUERTO RICO |date=December 7, 2022 |title=REGISTRO DE PROPIEDADES DESIGNADAS POR LA JUNTA DE PLANIFICACIÓN DE PUERTO RICO |url=https://jp.pr.gov/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REGISTRO-OFICIAL-DE-SITIOS-Y-ZONAS-HISTORICAS-DESIGNADAS-Rev.-DIC-2022.pdf |website=jp.pr.gov}}
