Qarakeçdi ({{Transliteration|az|Garakechdi}}) is a village in the Lachin District of Azerbaijan.
History
The village was known as Leninkend ({{langx|az|Leninkənd}}) during the Soviet period until it was renamed in 1999 to Qarakeçdi.[http://e-qanun.az/files/framework/data/3/f_3052.htm Azərbaycan Respublikasının bəzi rayonlarının inzibati-ərazi bölgüsündə qismən dəyişikliklər edilməsi haqqında] {{webarchive |url=https://web.archive.org/web/20140503074236/http://e-qanun.az/files/framework/data/3/f_3052.htm |date=May 3, 2014 }}
The village was located in the Armenian-occupied territories surrounding Nagorno-Karabakh, coming under the control of ethnic Armenian forces in May 1992 during the First Nagorno-Karabakh War. The village subsequently became part of the breakaway Republic of Artsakh as part of its Kashatagh Province, referred to as Lernahovit ({{langx|hy|Լեռնահովիտ}}), and previously Yeznagomer ({{lang|hy|Եզնագոմեր}}). It was returned to Azerbaijan as part of the 2020 Nagorno-Karabakh ceasefire agreement.
