Qiong Lake ({{zh|c=邛海|p=Qiónghǎi}}), sometimes tautologically referred to as Qionghai Lake, is a freshwater lake in Liangshan Prefecture, Sichuan, and is the second largest lake in Sichuan.{{Citation needed|date=October 2020}} The lake is located in a depression on the east side of the Anning River valley, in a mountainous region of the province between the Hengduan Mountains and the Yungui Plateau.{{cite book |author= |title=Atlas of China |location=Beijing |publisher=SinoMaps Press |date=2006 |isbn=9787503141782}} Xichang, the capital of Liangshan Prefecture, is located on the northwest shores of the lake and the entire of the lake is within Xichang County.{{cite book |author= |title=Sichuan Sheng Dituce |location=Beijing, China |publisher=Star Map Press |date=2013 |isbn=9787547109151}}
