The Quezzi elevator ({{langx|it|Ascensore inclinato di Quezzi}}) is a public inclined elevator with variable slope in the Quezzi quarter of Genoa, Italy. The elevator opened in May 2015 and connects the lower terminus at Via Pinetti to the terminus at Via Fontanarossa, with an intermediate stop at Portazza.{{cite news | first = Marco | last = Cacozza | title = New funicular in Genova | work = Today's Railways Europe | publisher = Platform 5 Publishing Ltd. | pages = 18 | issue = 244 | date = April 2016}}{{cite web | url = https://www.amt.genova.it/COMUNICATI_STAMPA/2015/2071.asp | title = Ascensore inclinato di Quezzi | language = it |trans-title=Inclined lift of Quezzi | publisher = AMT | date = 21 January 2015 | access-date = 30 March 2016}}

The plant is one of the many public people movers in the city, including several elevators and funiculars, the older and best known of which are the Zecca–Righi funicular, the Sant'Anna funicular and the Principe–Granarolo rack railway. The latter is erroneously described as a funicular in popular jargon.

From 1 December 2021 it has been free to use courtesy of the Municipality of Genoa and AMT.{{Cite web |title=Mobilità sostenibile, prolungata fino al 31 luglio la gratuità di metro e impianti verticali |date=30 March 2022 |url=https://www.amt.genova.it/amt/mobilita-sostenibile-prolungata-fino-al-31-luglio-la-gratuita-di-metro-e-impianti-verticali/ |access-date=2022-05-18 |language=it-IT}}

Operation

The elevator, managed by AMT Genova, has a total length of {{convert|131|m|0}}, of which the lower {{convert|27|m|0}} are in a tunnel, the middle {{convert|23|m|0}} in a cutting, and the remainder on an elevated rail. The lower section has a gradient of 44%, transitioning to a gradient of 30% in the upper section. The single car is designed to tilt, in order to maintain the floor leveled, despite the change in gradient.
