Rómulo Méndez Molina (21 December 1938 – 6 January 2022) was a Guatemalan football referee. He was the first Guatemalan referee ever to participate in World Cup finals,Source: {{in lang|es}} http://www.lahora.com.gt/02/05/22/paginas/deportes.htm#n3 refereeing one match in the 1982 World Cup and one match in the 1986 edition. Méndez was born in Cobán on 21 December 1938.
