This gene encodes a protein that contains a Ras association domain. Similar to its cattle and sheep counterparts, this gene is located near the prion gene. Two alternatively spliced transcripts encoding the same isoform have been reported.
Interactions
RASSF2 has been shown to interact with KRAS.{{cite journal |last=Vos |first=Michele D |author2=Ellis Chad A |author3=Elam Candice |author4=Ulku Aylin S |author5=Taylor Barbara J |author6=Clark Geoffrey J |date=Jul 2003 |title=RASSF2 is a novel K-Ras-specific effector and potential tumor suppressor |journal=J.
