Rabastens ({{IPA|fr|ʁabastɛ̃s}}) is a commune in the Tarn department in southern France. The historian Gustave de Clausade (1815–1888) was born in Rabastens of which he became mayor in 1848.
On 23 July 1570, during the French Wars of Religion, the troops of Blaise de Montluc took the town and massacred most of the Protestant garrison.{{Cite web |title=Blaise de Monluc |url=https://warfarehistorynetwork.com/article/blaise-de-monluc/ |access-date=2023-07-17 |website=Warfare History Network |language=en-US}}
