In 2016, the society operated a large supermarket in Radstock and eighteen convenience shops in nearby areas.{{cite report |url=http://upload2.evocdn.co.uk/radstock/uploads/asset_file/2_0_2016-annual-report-web.pdf |title=Report and Financial Statements - 52 week period ending 27 February 2016 |publisher=Radstock Co-operative Society |year=2016 |accessdate=4 August 2016 |archive-date=10 October 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20221010192501/http://upload2.evocdn.co.uk/radstock/uploads/asset_file/2_0_2016-annual-report-web.pdf |url-status=live }} The society also owns Manor Farm at Hardington, a dairy farm which supplies a substantial portion of the organic milk sold through UK Co-operative Stores. It previously owned a Homemaker Furniture store.
In 2020 the society obtained planning permission to replace its Radstock "superstore" with a housing and new store development. The old single-storey building was beyond economical repair, and will be replaced with two three-storey buildings and a public square.{{cite news |url=https://www.bathecho.co.uk/news/business/co-op-committed-walk-away-radstock-development-92233/ |title=Co-op committed too much to walk away from Radstock development |last=Sumner |first=Stephen |newspaper=Bath Echo |date=28 October 2020 |access-date=28 October 2020 |archive-date=31 October 2020 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20201031065613/https://www.bathecho.co.uk/news/business/co-op-committed-walk-away-radstock-development-92233/ |url-status=live }} In August 2020 the store was moved to temporary premises for the duration of the redevelopment.{{cite news |url=https://www.thenews.coop/154819/sector/retail/radstock-co-op-returns-to-profit-with-operating-surplus-of-745k/ |title=Radstock Co-op returns to profit with operating surplus of £745k |last=Hadfield |first=Miles |publisher=Co-operative Press |website=Co-op News |date=24 May 2021 |access-date=6 January 2022 |archive-date=10 October 2022 |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20221010192543/https://www.thenews.coop/154819/sector/retail/radstock-co-op-returns-to-profit-with-operating-surplus-of-745k/ |url-status=live }} Demolition of the old building started in November 2022.{{cite news |url=https://www.mnrjournal.co.uk/news/as-radco-demolition-gets-underway-how-will-it-affect-local-life-587268 |title=As RADCO demolition gets underway, how will it affect local life? |website=The Midsomer Norton & Radstock Journal |date=16 January 2023 |access-date=4 December 2023}}
The society participates in the British co-operative movement. As well as supplying cheese for national distribution by the Co-operative Retail Trading Group (CRTG) through a milk processor, it obtains food goods from the CRTG. It is a corporate member and shareholder of The Co-operative Group, a national business that is successor to the Co-operative Wholesale Society. In line with many retail co-operatives across the UK, during the late 2000s the society began converting its stores from the 1993 dark blue Co-op cloverleaf branding, to green “The co-operative food” fascias, alongside acquiring stores in Shepton Mallet and Coleford.{{Cite web|url=http://www.radstock-co-op.com/stores|title=Stores|accessdate=23 October 2012|archive-date=29 October 2012|archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20121029071354/http://www.radstock-co-op.com/stores|url-status=usurped}}{{Cite news|url=http://www.radstock-co-op.com/index.php/news/67-140th-anniversary|title=News: 140th Anniversary|year=2008|publisher=Radstock Co-operative Society}}{{dead link|date=May 2025|bot=medic}}{{cbignore|bot=medic}}
