Rawal Ranasimha also known as Rana Singh was the ruler of the Guhila dynasty in the 12th century. He succeeded his father Vikramsimha.{{Sfn|Somani|1976|loc=p.62 : "Our information about the successors of Arisingh, namely Chodsingh, Vikramsingh and Ranasingh, is meagre."}} He was succeeded by his son Kshemasimha.
His name became the regnant title of the Kingdom of Mewar who descended from his second son Rahapa.{{Sfn|Somani|1976|loc=p.63 : "In the Raj Prashasti Mahakagya it is mentioned that the title of Rana was bestowed upon Rahapa by Mahatawal Karna for his conspicuous gallantry in defeating Mokalsi, the ruler of Mandor"}} Hammir Singh, a descendant of Rana Singh, became the first ruler of Mewar after the main branch of the family went extinct after the 1303 siege by Alauddin Khalji.{{sfn|D.
