Raymond Alexander Deans (born 24 January 1966) is a Scottish retired footballer.

A former pupil of Stonelaw High School in Rutherglen,{{cite news|url=https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/local-news/stonelaw-high-waves-farewell-favourite-2562024|title=Stonelaw High waves farewell to favourite teacher|work=Daily Record / Rutherglen Reformer|date=5 October 2011|accessdate=13 March 2018}} Deans started his career as an apprentice with Chelsea before moving back to Scotland in 1983. He made his Clyde debut aged 17 under manager Craig Brown,{{cite web|url=https://www.clydefc.co.uk/club/history/hall-of-fame/craig-brown/|title=Hall of Fame - Craig Brown|publisher=Clyde F.C.|accessdate=18 March 2018}} and went on to score 14 league goals for the club in two years, before transferring to Doncaster Rovers for a fee of £40,000.
