Early life
Greenwell started playing for the Tennessee Flight, an AAU team, in seventh grade. High school career
Greenwell attended Owensboro Catholic in Owensboro, Kentucky, where she was named to the Academic All-State team and set numerous school records. McCallie at Duke University. College career

Professional career
She was drafted by the Washington Mystics in the 2018 WNBA draft but was suspended after she underwent knee surgery. The Mystics retain her rights.
