Red Army man ({{Langx|ru|Красноармеец|Krasnoarmeyets}}) was the lowest military rank in the Red Army of the Soviet Union from 1918 to 1946.{{Cite web|url=http://www.soldat.ru/spravka/rank/|title=Воинские звания военнослужащих России и СССР|website=Soldat.ru|language=ru|trans-title=Military ranks of servicemen of Russia and the USSR|access-date=2 August 2017}}

On 30 November 1917, after the October Revolution, the Military Revolutionary Committee cancelled all "officer and class ranks". Henceforth, the term Red Army man was used to refer to all ordinary soldiers.{{Sfn|Smele|2015|p=914}}

It was replaced by the rank of {{lang|ru|Ryadovoy}} in July 1946.

Its naval equivalent was Red Fleet man.{{Cite web|url=http://www.rkka.ru/uniform/terms/zvania.htm|title=ПЕРСОНАЛЬНЫЕ ВОИНСКИЕ ЗВАНИЯ ВОЕННОСЛУЖАЩИХ (1935 - 1945)|website=rkka.ru|language=ru|trans-title=Servicemen's Personal Military Ranks 1935–1945|access-date=2 August 2017}}
