The red weaver (Anaplectes jubaensis) is a species of bird in the weaver family Ploceidae. It is found in southern Somalia and northeastern Kenya.
This species was formerly considered as a subspecies of the red-headed weaver (Anaplectes rubriceps). It was split from the red-headed weaver based on its distinctive plumage.{{cite web| editor1-last=Gill | editor1-first=Frank | editor1-link=Frank Gill (ornithologist) | editor2-last=Donsker | editor2-first=David | editor3-last=Rasmussen | editor3-first=Pamela | editor3-link=Pamela Rasmussen | date=January 2023 | title=Old World sparrows, snowfinches, weavers | work=IOC World Bird List Version 13.1 | url=https://www.worldbirdnames.org/bow/weavers/ | publisher=International Ornithologists' Union | accessdate=7 February 2023 }}{{cite journal | last1=Kirwan | first1=G.M. | last2=Craig | first2=A.J.F. | last3=del Hoyo | first3=J. | last4=Collar | first4=N. | last5=de Juana | first5=E. | last6=Boesman | first6=P.F.D. | date=2022 | title=Red Weaver (Anaplectes jubaensis), version 1.0 | editor1-last=Billerman | editor1-first=S.M. | editor2-last=Sly | editor2-first=N.D. | journal=Birds of the World | location=Ithaca, NY, USA | publisher=Cornell Lab of Ornithology | doi=10.2173/bow.rehwea3.01 }}
