Redwood City station is a Caltrain commuter rail station located in Redwood City, California. It is served by all trains. The station has two side platforms serving the two tracks of the Peninsula Subdivision.

The original station building was built in 1901.{{sfn|Veronico|Veronico|McGovern|McGovern|2010|p=45}} It was remodeled in 1937 and moved to the west side of the tracks.{{sfn|Veronico|Veronico|McGovern|McGovern|2010|p=45}} The structure burned down in 1979 and was replaced with a "temporary" station in a trailer. A new waiting shelter was built in 1995, designed to emulate the original though with the addition of a clock tower.{{cite news|last1=Simon|first1=Mark|title=All Aboard For Station Dedication|url=http://www.sfgate.com/news/article/PENINSULA-INSIDER-All-Aboard-For-Station-3028001.php|access-date=12 December 2016|work=SFGate|date=14 July 1995}}{{cite web |url=http://www.caltrain.com/about/History/Milestones_1990s.html |title=Milestones 1990s |publisher=Caltrain |archive-url=https://web.archive.org/web/20120117070154/http://www.caltrain.com/about/History/Milestones_1990s.html |archive-date=January 17, 2012}}
