Removal is a Canadian progressive metal/experimental music group based in Vancouver.[https://www.straight.com/article/removal-plots-european-return "Removal plots European return"]. Georgia Straight, by John Lucas on March 30, 2006 They recorded and released six studio albums. History

Removal was formed in 1997 in Vancouver. Guitarist Bill Johnston and bassist Rob Clark met drummer Ernie Hawkins when they began recording some of their jam sessions at his studio, Big Midget.[http://dropd.com/issue/69/Removal/ "Instrumental, Once Removed Vancouver Trio Removal"].
