Reza Attaran (Persian: رضا عطاران; born 10 May 1968) is an Iranian actor, director, screenwriter and singer. Early life

Attaran was born in Mashhad on 10 May 1968. He has two older sisters and a younger brother and is the third child in the family. Attaran is originally from Kakhk. He received a degree in economics in the Mashhad before moving to Tehran to study industrial design at the University of Tehran, faculty of Fine Arts. In 1982, he left his education unfinished to pursue a career in theater.
