Rhamnus (Crete)

Rhamnus or Rhamnous ({{langx|grc|Ῥαμνοῦς}}) was a harbour on the west coast of ancient Crete near the promontory Chersonesus.{{Cite Ptolemy|3.17.2.}} Pliny the Elder, on the contrary, places it in the interior of the island.{{Cite Pliny|4.12.20}}

The site of Rhamnus is located at Ormos Stomiou.{{Cite Barrington|60}}
