Richard John Robinson (5 May 1950 – 20 March 2002) was an English cricketer. Robinson was a hard hitting right-handed batsman{{cite news|url=http://www.eveningstar.co.uk/sport/norman_fears_for_club_cricket_s_future_1_127219|title=Norman fears for club cricket's future|date=14 June 2002|work=Evening Star|accessdate=11 July 2011}} who bowled right-arm medium-fast. He was born in Ipswich, Suffolk.
Robinson made his debut for Suffolk in the 1968 Minor Counties Championship against Norfolk. Robinson played Minor counties cricket for Suffolk from 1968 to 1989, which included 95 Minor Counties Championship appearances{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/34/34818/Minor_Counties_Championship_Matches.html|title=Minor Counties Championship Matches played by Richard Robinson|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=11 July 2011}} and 2 MCCA Knockout Trophy appearances.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/34/34818/Minor_Counties_Trophy_Matches.html|title=Minor Counties Trophy Matches played by Richard Robinson|publisher=CricketArchive|accessdate=11 July 2011}} He made his List A debut against Sussex in the 1978 Gillette Cup.
