Early life and education

Career

Weber began his public service career as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of New York from 1995 to 2005. From 2002 to 2003 he was part of the prosecutors who probed the 2003 money laundering case of record label executive Irv Gotti.{{cite web | last=Philips | first=Chuck | title=Rap Label Offices Raided in Probe | website=Los Angeles Times | date=2003-01-04 | url=https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-2003-jan-04-fi-raid4-story.html | access-date=2025-02-27}} He then became the Chief, Asset Forfeiture and Money Laundering Section of the U.S. Department of Justice from 2005 to 2010. From 2010 to 2012, Weber was named Deputy Chief, Investigation Division and Chief, Major Economic Crimes Bureau of the Manhattan District Attorney's Office.
