Richard West (8 April 1916 – 18 June 1983) was an English first-class cricketer.
West was born in April 1916 at Berkhamsted, Hertfordshire. He was educated at Rugby School, before going up to Brasenose College, Oxford.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/33/33749/33749.html |title=Player profile: Richard West |publisher=CricketArchive |accessdate=2020-06-07 |url-access=subscription}} While studying at Oxford, he played first-class cricket for Oxford University in 1936 and 1937, making eight appearances.{{cite web|url=https://cricketarchive.com/Archive/Players/33/33749/First-Class_Matches.html |title=First-Class Matches played by Richard West |publisher=CricketArchive |accessdate=2020-06-07 |url-access=subscription}} Playing as a right-arm fast-medium bowler, he took 28 wickets at an average of 24.60. He died in June 1983 at Dry Sandford, Berkshire.
